Description
With a drop of over 260 feet, Kaaterskill Falls, in the Catskill Mountains, is the highest cascading waterfall in New York State. This picturesque and dramatic natural wonder has been depicted by many artists from Thomas Cole and Asher Durand up to the present day. An impressive sight in all seasons (assuming no drought!), here its beauty was enhanced by the touches of fall foliage.
