Plum Island, Massachusetts is the site of the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, an important, varied habitat for many bird and other species. In addition to the marshes, there is a beach with dramatic dunes and a long wooden path leading to the beach. Here you can see a hint of those dunes in the distance.
