Artist's Description

Motif #1 is so-called because it has been called the most often-painted building in America. This red fishing shack stands on a wharf at Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Massachusetts, a picturesque and walkable town on Cape Ann. I made several photographs of it over a long weekend in spring.
