The 1969 “Woodstock” event actually took place in Bethel Green because the organizers rightly foresaw that the little village in the Catskills wouldn’t be able to hold all the people that were expected to attend. Still, Woodstock itself is a fun place to visit and still retains its 1960s vibes as reflected in many of its stores, music events, etc. This is one of the pictures I’ve made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock –“Three Days of Peace and Music.”
