Artist's Description

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this historic home was built around 1788. It was owned by the Brandow family, who came to the Hudson Valley with the 1710 German Palatine immigration, for 200 years. After passing through different owners, it was sold in 2009 to the Greene Land Trust. It stands on the 62-acre Brandow Point Unique Area, which has hiking trails going down to the Hudson River.
