Sachuest National Wildlife Refuge in Middletown, Rhode Island with its miles of trails offers walking, birdwatching, and of course the viewing and photographing of magnificent seascapes off the coast of the Ocean State. This photograph was taken on a bright and windy winter day when waves were rolling in and crashing against the rocks. When I saw the couple silhouetted and back-lit against the crashing waves, I knew I had to get that shot.
