Artist's Description
New Hampshire may have only 18 miles of seacoast, but it boasts an incredible variety of natural beauty, including white sand beaches, rocky coves (with or without harbors for lobster boats), and even the hustle-bustle of Portsmouth with its three bridges that cross the Piscataqua River to Maine.
This sculpture of "The Seascape Artist" is strategically placed near the water at Great Island Common (a.k.a. New Castle Common) on the New Hampshire coast so that, from whatever direction you photograph it, you can get him painting a beautiful view! I was there near sunset and so photographed him painting that building (I don't know what it is -- can someone enlighten me?) with the glowing light of the setting sun on it.
