We had just finished shooting a spectacular red-sky dawn over Cooper Lake in the Catskills when we noticed the early light now illuminating the mountain top. And so we postponed moving on to the next location until we had covered this spot as well. The geese huddling together in the water were perfectly positioned in the brightly colored reflection.
