This historic home is tucked away among the shops and restaurants on the main street in North Conway Village, New Hampshire. It is the home of the Gibson-Woodbury Charitable Foundation, which has as its mission “to enhance the vitality and wellness of all Mount Washington Valley residents through charitable giving to established non-profit organizations.”
North Conway is one of the most popular tourist destinations in New Hampshire. With its astounding natural beauty and access to a wide variety of activities, North Conway has something for everyone: Hiking, rock-climbing, canoeing, cultural activities, skiing, shopping. In the 19th century the area became popular with artists, and its own native school of art. , White Mountain Art, soon developed. Benjamin Champney, the best-known representative of White Mountain Art, has a trail named after him on the Kancamagus Highway.
